Community

A Community-Driven Project

Kaspa has no company, no foundation, and no central organization. Everything — from protocol development to community outreach — is driven by contributors and community members. This makes the community itself the backbone of the project.

Getting Involved

Kaspa welcomes contributors at all levels:

  • Developers — contribute to rusty-kaspa, build tools, or develop on the ecosystem. The codebase is open source under the ISC license.
  • Community members — participate in discussions, help newcomers, create content, or contribute to documentation.
  • Miners — secure the network by running ASIC mining hardware.
  • KIP authors — propose improvements to the protocol through the Kaspa Improvement Proposal process on GitHub.
